Hallo, we hebben Co, Liesbeth, Federica en Jarod Bax. Op 29 april 2008 gaan we naar Hua Hin Thailand om te werken en te wonen. De kinderen Federica en Jarod zijn in Hua Hin op een internationale school en in ons blog kan een beetje van ons dagelijks leven hier ... dat is ... als ik het vol ga houden! Just to be sure i wasn't dreaming the other day, i went over for a look at the buildingsite of our new home, our new property and no i have not been dreaming :-)Of course not much to see yet, or not as much as a woman in this case would like to see, but their are activities! Not much that i understand anyway..just a lot of wooden sticks and wire and people and a Bhoedda's spirit house...but always more than a view days ago.As i was in the neighbourhood i thought i just as well could...

New home, building started!

Yesterday, 6th of February 2010 it finally happened...the buildingstart of our new home! Not much yet, but at least the measurements are taken and they started cleaning up the bushes. I wonder how many snakes are moving from that place now :-) The next view weeks nothing exciting will happen as first of all they will be building the wall at the backside, levelling the land, and put together some kind of laborcamp...but from now on we can start counting...it should be ready within 9...

It's been a long time... :-)But here we are again. Nothing really exciting to tell at the moment, nor that anything really exciting happened the last months. maybe that's why i haven't been updating our blog. Life has become so normal for us here in Thailand and we've been adapting to the Thai way of living pretty much by now. A view weeks ago a police officer came at our door to ask to registrate our car and motorbike.Luckely a friendly neighbour came with him to translate, because we thought they were coming to ask us for money again :-) This because there are going to be a lot of check points during the Asean Summit end of the month.If you register, with passport and car/motorbike documents, you can pick up a sticker to put on your vehicle, so that you can pass the check point easy and fast. They did it again! Buddy has been poisoned!

Unbelievable, but they did it again. yesterday they tried again to poison one of the dogs.Luckely one of the neighbours saw Buddy at their neighbours house acting strangely and she came to get me. As it's the second time already, i learned that you should give a poisoned dogs raw eggs and oil to absorb the poison and make them vomit. I called Co and we rushed to the vet. Luckely Buddy is a very strong dog and we were able to fix him up. He stayed over the night at the vet and this morning...

So far nothing yet and nothing coming...Only a lot of rain last night and still raining this morning...but no complaining it's still 26 degrees at 7 o'clock in the morning and it will probably be dry and hot later on...For sure i must go for shopping this morning, so i hope it will be dry :-)The puppies are doing great! In 2 weeks time they gained at least 4 times their birth weight :-) We are spoiling mom with al nice kinds of diner to make sure she has enough milk and i guess she has :-)...

Het kon niet op vandaag! Kika had vandaag haar speech contest en werd 2nd runner up...Goede plaats en mooie trofee...haar onderwerp over autisme heeft ze ontzettend goed overgebracht (al ben ik natuurlijk de bevooroordeelde trotse mama) en bovenop alles is ze ook nog eens Student of the Month geworden! En dat met al die verliefde vlinders in haar buik :-) Supertrots zijn we op haar! En of het zo moest zijn...3 maal raden wie er ook student of the month was'?? Juist Kika's lover..good for you...
